Vancouver, BC, December 14, 2020 – Charleswood Capital (“Charleswood”) is pleased to announce the close of a rewarding year at portfolio company ProSafe First Aid Training & Supplies (“ProSafe” or the “Company”).
The onset of the Covid-19 pandemic posed various challenges to in-person instruction, to which ProSafe adapted well under strong management and with a dedicated team of employees and instructors. As part of its pandemic response, the Company took steps to extend accessibility to its programs, increasing online training delivery and launching a portal for self-paced learning and certification.
Despite these challenges, the year saw growth in the Company’s personnel and partnerships:
Opened new campus locations in Richmond and Port Coquitlam
Expanded instructional team to offer a greater variety of employment training courses
Strengthened and acquired new partnerships with various school districts and employment agencies throughout the Lower Mainland
The Company looks forward to building on this momentum in 2021 with a continued focus on increasing online and blended training options, further expansion into new markets, and targeted programming changes to better serve growing demands and high employability rates in construction and urban development.
